what is an intuitive tattoo?

Your tattoo will depict the main energies uncovered during the Reiki healing session and tarot reading. My gift is to visualize your energy and journey towards your highest self and transform it into a personalized design. I may use naturally occurring elements such as plants, astrological symbols and elements. Cultural and spiritual symbols, representations of deities or goddesses may be present to represent significant energies in your journey. The design could also be completely abstract and free flowing or ornamental to depict the characteristics of your energy. The elements will be shared with you throughout the process and we will spend some time going over some sketches while discussing certain elements and placement/size options before finalizing the intuitive tattoo design.
what are the costs involved?
Performing Reiki energy healing, Tarot readings and holding space for another persons life experiences can be a draining energetic experience. Followed by drawing a visual representation on your life journey in a tattooable design on the spot. Luckily, this is a gift I am able to carry, but it comes with intense mental preparation and spiritual grounding. There will be a $200 non-refundable deposit for the Intuitive sessions, which allows for two rescheduling attempts before the deposit is lost. The remainder of the full day session will be an additional $400-$800 depending on your budget, size and complexity of the customized design and if a second session will be needed to complete the tattoo. Payment plans available.
Who is this service for?
Intuitive Tattoo Sessions are for anyone who wishes to receive a meaningful design as a reminder to stay true to themselves on their life journey and spiritual path. This service is for all genders 18+, all backgrounds, religions and cultures are welcome to try intuitive tattooing. I am open to adapting my language to honour your personal representation of “Spirit” or “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any religious organization or entity. In order to receive an intuitive design, you must be willing and open to accept a completely customized one-of-a-kind tattoo that is based on the energies in the reading. Having a pre-conceived notion about the design may hinder the outcome of the reading and affect the overall experience. If you have a specific vision in mind for a custom tattoo I suggest submitting a booking request form or booking an in person consultation.
what to expect during the full day session
Plan to be free of responsibilities for the entire day (only booking Wednesdays for Reiki) From 10am until the evening, we will spend the day together, as a Reiki practitioner I will hold space for you in your healing journey and relay any guidance I receive during the reading. After the healing session and tarot reading, you will have the opportunity to take a lunch break and either explore Kensington, or have an in-home lunch provided for you. Other snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the day. Tattooing will begin between 1-2pm and will proceed into the evening. Depending on the size and complexity of the design, a second session may be needed. We will end our day with another energy cleanse and grounding experience.
What is reiki and tarot?
Reiki represents the Universal Life Force Energy that is living within us all and our planets. During the Reiki healing session, I connect to the healing energy and cleanse your chakras of all negative and unwanted energies that are blocking your ability to reach your highest good. The Tarot reading will also show us signs and guidance towards spiritual enlightenment and healing. Tarot cards are tools that allow us to receive messages and wisdom from the Spirit, I also like to visualize Mother Earth sending us teachings from her years of learned experience. The cards all carry symbols and patterns that we repeat as humans while we continue to grow and heal throughout our life journey.
What qualifies me to offer this service
Although I seem young, Ive lived a thousand lives. I’ve dealt with loss, grief and depression from a very young age and I continue to experience life in the rawest form through motherhood, grief, mental illness and chronic pain. I have developed a strong spiritual connection with my higher self and spirit guides as an adult after finding that traditional religion limited my abilities for a deeper connection to the earth and my souls purpose, past, present and future. When I discovered tattooing, I felt that it was an extremely sacred practice that helped people connect with their physical bodies. Carrying art as tattoos left people with memories, encouragement and confidence. I have felt for many years that it was my purpose to create beauty from the pain of this life. Using art and tattooing, I am able to transform pain, grief, loss and memory into an unforgettable visualization of your emotional healing.
